Limited liability and indemnity

What this page cannot do
Start here, because it is the part that matters most. Nothing on this page limits any right or remedy you have under applicable US law, including the UCC's implied warranty of merchantability. If any part of it purported to, that part would be unenforceable, and the right would still apply.
The Uniform Commercial Code implies a warranty that our goods are merchantable: fit for their ordinary purpose and matching their description. Where they are not, you are entitled to a remedy from us: a repair, a replacement or a refund, with the return postage on us.
What we limit, to the extent the law allows
Subject to the paragraphs above, and only so far as applicable law permits, our liability for goods bought from this site is limited to one of the following, at our election: replacing the goods, supplying equivalent goods, repairing the goods, paying the cost of replacing them, or paying the cost of having them repaired.
Again subject to the paragraphs above, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit or loss of opportunity, arising from the use of goods bought here or from any delay in delivering them.
What these products are
Everything sold here is a textile good: quilt cover sets and their coordinated pieces. None of it is safety equipment, protective equipment or a medical device, and we make no medical or wellness claim for any of it anywhere on this site. What we assert is the construction, the contents of the set and the dimensions, all of which are on the product page.
Care and use
Each product page states how to look after the set: a gentle machine wash in cool water, no high-temperature washing, no high-heat drying, air-dry flat or tumble dry on the lowest setting. Damage caused by hot washing, bleaching or high-heat drying a woven set is not a fault in the goods, and it is the one kind of damage we cannot help with.
Third parties
Payments are processed by Stripe and PayPal and delivery is carried out by third-party couriers. Where one of those services fails, we remain responsible to you for the order under applicable US consumer law, and we deal with the provider rather than sending you to them.
Website content
We keep the information on this site accurate and current, and where a figure is not published we say so rather than estimating it. Even so, the site is provided as it stands: articles and buying guides are general information rather than advice for your particular situation.
